And Finally Spurs Tasted The Trophy

Published by Jack Ying under Carling Cup

I had never thought Tottenham to put until this far and even won away the trophy which usually ignored by big clubs from England. A little bit shock, Tottenham Hotspurs had beaten the trophies-strave, Chelsea football club in the Carling Cup final few days ago in the run time of 120 minutes in the match in Wembley Stadium. While, manager Juande Ramos was said to be the key of the winning. From my view, his terrific management seriously brought Tottenham Hotspurs back to their trophies challenge track.

Since the former manager, Martin Jol managed to upgrade the team to the biggest top 5 in Premiership. However, there was a crucial problem happened in this season, until the welcoming of current manager Juande Ramos. Chelsea’s hitman Didier Drogba broke the dead lock and put Chelsea forward in the 1st half while Bulgarian Berbatov equalized in the 70th minutes with an amazing penalty. New comer Jonathan Woodgate scored a stunning goal to seal the win.

Well, what actually are the elements that enabled Tottenham to win the match? Let’s check these out as the starting point of the following posts to analyse the match:

Carling Cup Second Leg Matches Highlights

Published by Jack Ying under Carling Cup

Sorry about the inconvenience that brought by my project work. After all, I’m still very concern about matches. Well, the most interesting match these days definitely be the Carling Cup semi-finals. Out of my expectations, Juande Ramos, coach of Tottenham Hotspurs brought Spurs to the final facing the titan Chelsea. Tottenham trashed their foe, Arsenal by 5-1 which is a big disgrace for the gunners. On the other hand, dark horse, Everton the Tofees lost to Chelsea by 0-1. English midfielder Joe Cole struck a magnificent strike. I had never expect Tottenham could come to this far as one of the strongest and best team in EPL Arsenal will block their ways to success. However, they’ve made it through every obstacles and journey to the final. Congratulations to Tottenham Hotspurs and Chelsea who will be playing the Carling Cup final.

Here’s the incredible show ruled by Tottenham where I found:

Arsenal Got A Draw With Tottenham Hotspurs In Carling Cup Semi-Final

Published by Jack Ying under Carling Cup

Yesterday’s interesting match, Carling Cup semi-final was played by Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs. Well, the final results is 1-1 and this brings advantages for Tottenham in the semi-final 2nd leg of Carling Cup. Spurs led Arsenal at the 1st half by Jermaine Jenas’s goal at 35 minutes. Gunner’s equalizer was scored by England under-21 star Theo Walcott. He didn’t get to perform in last season of Premiership, but his idol Thiery Henry’s left earns him higher chances to get show up in matches. This season’s Premiership, Theo Walcott has improved a lot, but I’m pretty sure there’ll be much more for him to come. So, enjoy the match highlights.
